The GED certificate is widely accepted as meeting secondary school graduation requirements for purposes of employment, promotion, licensing, and further education. However, the Ministry of Education cannot guarantee that the certificate will be accepted by employers or post-secondary institutions or trainers in every instance. Many colleges of applied arts and technology and universities accept satisfactory GED scores as one factor in their assessment for admission as a mature student.

My doctorate degree is in education, and I spent over 40 years writing, evaluating and implementing educational programs. I wrote the only RV Technician training curriculum in 1986. The program at R.V.S.A. continues to be the most comprehensive in the industry. Keep in mind that we do not sell and install RV parts.

Since opening in 1986, we have never cancelled a class. In the early years, we held classes with as few as one student. DCBC certificates are recognized by the National Energy Board (NEB), the offshore petroleum boards of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia (C-NOPB and C-NSOPB), as well as by HSE, IMCA and the Australian Diving Accreditation Scheme (ADAS). Even if you believe that you never had a birth certificate, you should follow the instructions to request a certified copy from the Tennessee Vital Records Office if you were born in Tennessee. If no record of your birth is located, the Vital Records Office will send you a letter certifying that no record is on file. Many agencies that ask you for a birth certificate will accept this certified letter from the State of Tennessee in place of a birth certificate.

If you have been cleared for graduation, you are eligible to receive your certificate or diploma after your actual graduation date. You must be cleared of any holds on your account (i.e. accounts payable, financial aid, library loans, or student loans).
