After selecting [Funds Transfer] on the Sub-Menu, you can input the transaction details to make a fund transfer. In the following screen, you may verify and confirm the transaction details (and the exchange rates, if applicable) by clicking the [Confirm] button or withdraw the transaction by clicking the [Cancel] button.

Cancellation for domestic fund transfer is available during the hours we do not accept request of transfer, such as after 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. Status for the transfer can be viewed on the "Transfer Inquiry" screen. To cancel transfers which has been accepted by the bank, or transfers which have been deposited to a third party account, "Transfer return" ("Kumimodoshi") will be made and 500 yen per transfer return will be charged (1 free transfer return in substance per month).

Limit of daily domestic fund transfer is initially set at 500,000 yen, and you will be able to change the limit from 0 yen up to 2,000,000 yen. Changes are available through Online Banking (Shinsei PowerDirect). The Fund Transfer function is limited to intra-ATM card account. This means it is only available to ATM cards with multiple accounts (with primary savings and primary current) linked to it.

If your account has no sufficient funds, the transfer will be cancelled and no further attempt will be made by BPI to make the transfer.

You should contact your financial institution immediately if you believe that the electronic fund transfer reported on your account statement was not properly authorized or is otherwise incorrect. Consumers have protections under a Federal law called the Electronic Fund Transfer Act for an unauthorized or incorrect electronic fund transfer.

In rare instances it may not be possible to use an eCheck. In some cases, checks drawn on foreign banks or on accounts other than a standard bank savings or checking account may not be accepted.
