I mostly use epoxy putty, but the brand I was using decided to change the product (like all the other epoxy companies) and the new stuff ain't that great. Now I've been using Super Sculpy since a lot of other customizers use it, but I don't care for it too much. It's too brittle and curing it sucks. You either gotta boil it or bake it and I ain't gonna stick my Joe's in the oven and you have to really watch boiling it cause the parts can shrink. I haven't tried the hair-dryer method.

Light Corporation specializes in fluorescent lighting. Fluorescent lighting is more energy efficient, runs cooler and has a longer lamp life than incandescent lighting. Fluorescent lamps not being a point source of light (the entire surface of the lamp emits light not just the filament inside the lamp) allows us to light the work surface more evenly than if we were using an incandescent source.

HIDs require several minutes to warm up. During this "re-strike" period, the lamps consume electricity but produce no usable light. Energy-saving occupancy sensors, which automatically turn lights on when the area is occupied and off when the area is unoccupied, cannot be used with metal halide HIDs. Dimming systems for HIDs are expensive and less efficient than those used for fluorescent control systems, reducing the benefits of decreasing light levels during low-use periods to save energy.

Probably your best bet is to use Plink, the command-line connection tool. If you can start Plink as a second Windows process, and arrange for your primary process to be able to send data to the Plink process, and receive data from it, through pipes, then you should be able to make SSH connections from your program.

PuTTY also supports some terminal control sequences not supported by the real xterm: notably the Linux console sequences that reconfigure the colour palette, and the title bar control sequences used by DECterm (which are different from the xterm ones; PuTTY supports both). By default, PuTTY announces its terminal type to the server as xterm. If you have a problem with this, you can reconfigure it to say something else; vt220 might help if you have trouble.

It depends on whether you trust that PC. If you don't trust the public PC, don't use PuTTY on it, and don't use any other software you plan to type passwords into either. It might be watching your keystrokes, or it might tamper with the PuTTY binary you download. There is no program safe enough that you can run it on an actively malicious PC and get away with typing passwords into it.

Traditional putty knives are NOT recommended. A high quality pull scraper which is pulled toward you instead of pushed away from you is essential with the Speedheater Infrared (IR) Paint Remover. Heating the paint will soften the paint. It is then up to the quality scraper tool to get the paint off. Most paint on the surface will require a little elbow grease when scraping. Inexpensive scrapers found in many paint stores do not work very well.
