The following sections refer to Sony's ATRAC. Sharp and Matsushita (among others?) have developed ATRAC chips of their own, though rather little has been made public about their evolution. While all manufacturer's ATRAC versions interoperate and are based upon Sony's original specification, it is not possible to compare their version numbers.

Patients are encouraged to schedule in advance, allowing them to choose their doctor and the date of their procedure, but if you have a flexible schedule and can react quickly, you can save even more money by choosing our Standby Program. Your name is placed on a waiting list, and when your name reaches the top of the list, we schedule you with the first available physician and date.

Anyone is eligible to play in either the Open or CoRec. The difference is that an Open team could be all men or all women or mixed. The CoRec requires an equal number of males to females to be on the court or field at all times. For instance, a team of four would consist of two males and two females. However, an odd-number team such as five would, of course, have more of one gender than the other. Also, CoRec official rules are a bit different to accommodate the equal numbers.

The first four types above are "varlena" types (i.e., the first four bytes on disk are the length, followed by the data). Thus the actual space used is slightly greater than the declared size. However, long values are also subject to compression, so the space on disk might also be less than expected. VARCHAR(n) is best when storing variable-length strings and it limits how long a string can be. TEXT is for strings of unlimited length, with a maximum of one gigabyte.

The Teens and Trails Program (TNT), is shorter then other programs because the youth are younger (ages 14-15). The programs for 16-19 yr olds are typically 5-weeks long. However, as another option for corps members, we do have two programs that are 6-weeks long. The only difference between these two programs is the length of time.

The prism in binoculars inverts the image so that the viewer sees everything upright, instead of upside down. Roof and porro prisms perform the same function, but the roof design usually cements the prisms together, while the porro design often has the two prisms placed separately. Because of this, the porro design can re-create truer 3-D images, while the roof design allows for slimmer binoculars, and is less susceptible to misalignment due to jolting or damage.

The main differences between the different kinds of 914 are in the engine. Therefore, this is a good place to start looking. A Six will be obvious. It will have a pair of triple-throat carbs staring at you as soon as you open the engine lid. The fuel-injection system on the US-spec 1.8L engines is somewhat different from that used on the 1.7L and 2.0L engines. The air cleaner is over on the left-hand side of the engine compartment, and has the airflow meter attatched to it.
