We ask for people to send us their applications by at least two months in advance of the requested first day of classes. However, we can accept applications up to a month in advance, in most cases. In this case, a 15,000 yen Express Fee is added to the total cost, to cover the extra cost required to arrange accommodation, etc. in a short time. Additionally, if you do not require accommodation, we can in some cases accept applications less than a month before the first day of classes.

We have classes starting every week. You can start as soon as you contact the Admissions Department for an appointment, bring in the documentation requested, and complete our simple enrollment procedures. After enrollment, orientations take place every Friday afternoon, and you can start classes the following Monday or Tuesday. That’s how fast you can start the career you’ve been dreaming of!

Students may choose an advisor after completing the 3 required laboratory rotations. Each rotation lasts one full quarter, beginning in Autumn. At the end of Spring Quarter students may choose an advisor and begin working in the lab Summer Quarter.

IELC has four sessions a year: Winter Session (January-March), Spring Session (March-June), Summer Session (June-August), and Fall Session (September-November).

We start one class a year in the Autumn quarter which starts in September. The classes start at 8:00 o'clock in the morning and end at 12:00 noon.

Your user name and password will be sent to you within one business day following your enrollment in a program. At that time, you can immediately begin taking web-based courses and also schedule your TeleClasses.

The answer depends upon where you live. If you are close by—or near one of our NOBTS extension centers—then you can start taking up to eight hours of graduate work immediately after you are accepted into the program. If you are already accepted into the graduate program, then you could literally complete all your study guides and credit-by-testing work before entering your first M.Div. course.

Once we have the Consultants' Brief, we then search and usually have someone identified and negotiations commenced within days of the initial contact.
