Some calendar programs, address books and even websites do part of what we do. But frankly, it's harder, usually takes more time to set up, clutters your special occasions with daily chores, and is not as much fun as doing it with Just Between Friends.

Go to the File menu - Open, and open each of these items. They will now be available each time you log in.

Your BlackBerry Internet Service enables you to synchronise your BlackBerry address book, tasks, memos and calendar with Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later. To allow you to do this you will need to install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager that came on a CD with your BlackBerry device. To load Desktop Manager you should run the BlackBerry Desktop Manager CD and an Install Wizard will then take you through the installation process.

You must be logged in to the Fax Server to see the entries in the Server Address Book. If you are logged in, you will see the Server Address book entries when you compose a fax. A blue ball icon to the left of the name indicates a Contact listed in the Server Address Book. Note: If the Server Address Book contains several hundred entries or more, it will take from 5 to 8 minutes to download the list of names to the Fax Client after logging in.

It's under “Organizing” in the leftside menu (click the plus sign, if necessary). See, things are so organized now, they're hard to find. Ironic.

If the address book is blank, then the book may be closed. Follow the steps below to open the address book(s) that are closed.

In order for the GroupWise address book to be sorted by last name, the last name column should be the first one that appears in the address book. Follow the steps below to make last name the first column. The name of each column in the address book will appear above the column and will have a grey back ground. Point at the first column name and click the right mouse button. After clicking More Columns, a screen will appear.

Global Address Book is a shared address book, which can be read by all users in the same domain. Only domain administrator can add/edit/delete the contacts. Only system user or domain administrator can set a user as domain administrator.

You may already have the maximum number of tabs (see How many tabs can I create?). If this is the case, you will need to delete one tab in order to make room for your calendar (see How do I delete a tab?). If your eBoard is part of a building-wide or district-wide eBoard implementation, your administrator may have disabled the creation of new calendars. Contact your eBoard administrator to find out whether this is the case.

You can go to the Adobe Acrobat website and download an Acrobat Reader for free. You should then be able to download the calendar.

Another easy way to add names into your Address Book is QuickBuilder. QuickBuilder setup allows you to search your Yahoo! Mail messages for contacts and add them to your Address Book. It's easy and fast!

When you download Backup Assistant, you will be guided through a series of steps that will create an account for you and backup your address book for the first time. Backup Assistant will safely backup any subsequent changes to your address book either automatically, at a schedule that you set, or manually, depending on the schedule option you select when you first create your account.

You only need to have the views ($Users), ($PeopleGroupsFlat), and ($PeopleGroupsHier) in your database. You also need the ($NamesFieldLookup) view if you want people to be able to begin typing the name in the To: field and have Notes find it automatically in the address books and fill in the rest.

In the Choose an action to perform list, click Import from another program or file, and then click Next. Note: Large distribution lists may not be populated. Check the contents to ensure that it contains all entries. For additional information regarding this problem, see the following Microsoft Knowledgebase Document.

SAULCAT, the online catalogue, will tell you if the item has been borrowed. If it's not on loan and not where it should be on the shelves, it might be in the re-shelving section (near the stairs on Levels 3 and 4) or being consulted. If you still can't find it, ask at the Service Desk the prefix eg 'per' means it's a periodical (on Levels 3 or 4 furthest from the stairs); 'f', 'Gov', etc all indicate where the item is shelved.
