Vehicles usually get between 7 to 13 miles per gallon. This depends of course on gross weight, the vehicle size, the speed that you travel, whether you are towing anything.

Volkswagen claims that the V-10 TDI Touareg will get 28.8 MPG "extra-urban" and 23.2 MPG "combined" according to UK figures. owner of a V-10 TDI Touareg in Florida reports a running average of 19.7 MPG in mixed driving and 28.5 MPG at a constant 50 MPH.

The mileage depends on the size of the unit and the dirving conditions. Usually, you will get between 8 and 14 miles per gallon.

Might be due to, colder weather, winter grade gas, dirty PCV valve, dirty EGR, dirty air filter, dirt Mass air flow sensor (there is a spray you can buy to clean it out), dirty fuel injectors, low tire pressure, larger then oem tire size, front and/or rear end needs to be aligned, dirty air filter, weak battery or weak alternator. If you replace or clean any of the above pieces make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 15 minutes so the ECU will recalibrate itself.

AMSOIL Motor Oils reduce friction and drag better than petroleum oils and other synthetic oils, resulting in significant mileage increases. However, in highway driving, many of our customers have experienced as much as a 2 – 3 miles per gallon improvement. If you use the smaller number of 2 miles per gallon as the figure to calculate cost savings, the savings can add up. The Longer Answer: A great way to calculate gas mileage for an airplane is to compare it's efficiency to a car. For starters, an airplane flies in a straight line ( as the crow flies, more or less ), while a car must follow the roads, which commonly deviate around both natural and man made obstacles. Sludge build up causes engines to lose performance because it interferes with the ability of internal parts to operate freely. When oil passages are constricted with sludge, the oil pressure to crucial parts of the engine is reduced, especially to the camshaft and valve train. Emissions are also affected by a dirty engine. Besides the obvious FUN of zipping around town, through curves, down straight-a-ways and then coming to a stop on a dime, scooters are EXTREMELY economical. Some scooters get as much as 125 MPG (YES! That’s MILES per gallon!). For the popular TN'G Venice, mileage varies from around 60 mpg to over one hundred mpg, depending on how you ride.

Make sure you are using a fresh air filter. You may consider getting an oil-wetted filter from TRD or AMSOIL. They are very efficient, reusable after cleaning and re-oiling, and somewhat expensive. They are free-flowing compared with efficient paper filters and you can clean them as often as you like. I clean mine every 10k. The TRD filter is oil-wetted cotton and the AMSOIL filter is oil-wetted double layered plastic open cell foam.
