A - Speeds will vary according to different criteria: time of day, computer configuration, cached or non-cached web browsing, network components, user number and traffic in the network. Existing cable subscribers will get speeds up to 6 Mbps, while those without cable (video) will be up to 4 Mbps - which is fast Internet access and can be upgraded to become even faster!

Cable Internet access uses cable television wires instead of telephone lines to connect to the Internet. It is extremely fast and does not tie up telephone lines for incoming or outgoing calls and faxes. SURFboard cable modems are capable of downloading up to 100 times faster than traditional analog phone modems, when comparing download speeds with a traditional 28.8k analog modem. Actual speeds will vary, and are often less than the maximum possible.

Airlie offers two telephones in each sleeping room. Local, toll-free, and calling card calls are free up to 60 minutes and 10 cents per minute after 60 minutes. High speed internet access is now complimentary in all Airlie sleeping rooms.

All condos now have free wireless high-speed internet access. The signal is password free and generally is labeled St. George Vacation Rentals. Your computer must have the capability to receive the wireless signal. Please contact support for your computer if you are unsure of its capabilities. No phone service is included with the condo.
