In order for the Default Font, Size and Color to be used the field in which you enter text on the form must be completely cleared. A field that looks empty does not mean that it still does not have any formatting within it! Use the Clear Fields command on the Edit menu to remove the entire content of the field. Warning! This will remove all the text in the field also! Another way to achieve the same results without deleting any text currently in the fields is to use the Form-Context menu.
