Poodles come in three registered sizes. Standard is the large breed poodle. Miniature is the mid-sized poodle. Toy is the smallest poodle breed. Breeders break down the toy poodle size into three categories, as well. The tiniest of the toy poodle sizes is the teacup. Tiny toy is the next size up. These two classifications (teacup and tiny toy) are just terms breeders use to identify size. Dogs in both of these size classes are registered as toy poodles.

There is no easy answer to this one. The average toy poodle litter size is 3-4 puppies. Teacups typically have less. Some dogs have just one puppy in a litter. The most we've ever had in a litter is five. Other breeders we know have had 6-7 puppies in a litter, but that is unusually high.

We're just looking for warm here but some people over do it so the following are a few precautions... Be sure to check that the toy is not too hot before touching it. If the water gets too hot to touch, then don't touch the water or the toy. Do not apply excessive heat to the toy.

If you use the freezer, we all know what happens when you lick something frozen and that wouldn't be fun in this situation. So if freezing it, run it under cold water for a couple of seconds prior to use.

Once it has been used it should be cleaned with at least warm water and anti-bacterial soap, dried, and returned to its velvet case. Be very careful when you wash the toy, nothing is more slippery than glass, soap, and water. Get a good grip on it and hold it low in the washing basin.

That’s a good question; unfortunately I don’t have a good answer. Finding Toynami was, well, really unexpected. My goal wasn’t to find a toy company, the timing was just right. My suggestion is to do your research. Find dolls that are similar to your vision and find out what company made them. Once you find the company name, go online and look them up to see how you can get ahold of them.

The single biggest factor is availability of molds and tooling for a production run of the toy to be done. A mold that is currently being used to produce toys for mass release is not acceptable because Hasbro/Takara can't afford to change things in the middle of a run for a small convention run and then change them back again. A mold which has been out of production for a long time is also not acceptable because too much work (ie. money) is required to test old molds for viability.
