By default, deleted messages will remain in your Inbox, marked as deleted, i.e. they are crossed out. When webmail deletes an email message, by default it moves it to your trash folder, by first copying the message to a new folder, then deleting the original message. This copy operation is failing because Webmail doesn't have enough room to copy the message, so it never gets to the second step of actually deleting it. The solution to this is to temporarily turn off your trash folder, so that when you delete a message, it is immediately gone.

To set up and access a group mailbox, the user must be a member of the group and must have added the group in the “group mailboxes” option on the Internet Services User Status page. Your quota is the amount of space given for file storage. Each student is alotted a quota for both email and their personal filespace (N: drive). Currently AHS students have a 100 Mb quota for their personal filespace. This is your N:\ drive when you logon to AHS NEXUS lab computers. The current mail quota for ahsmail is 20 Mb. Users are warned when they are close to exceeding their quota. It is important to maintain your AHS storage space, especially your ahsmail inbox.
