Yes, externally created contacts imported into Outlook are seen by OsaSync as new contacts and synced accordingly. If you insert for instance a Word file into a synced task item the Word file will be copied to the other computers as an attachment. This means that the other computers receive a copy of the Word file. When a user edits this copy the changes are NOT reflected into the original. If you want to work with ONE file don't use the Insert - File command but choose Insert - Object instead.

Open the import template in Excel and copy and paste the contact information into its corresponding column. The only column that is required is the email address. The others are there for you if you would like to use them. Save the template file without changing or removing any of the column headers or any columns, make sure it is saved as a CSV. The best way to do this is to just click save without re-naming it. If Excel asks you if you are sure, click yes.

If exporting into Outlook, please ensure that its contact fields correspond to Artsystems contact fields. Note: Outlook requires that imported e-mail fields be named "E-mail".
