Most table lamps, which accept fabric shades are set up with industry standard Regular Weight harps and Regular Weight harp bases. We recommend that you order Regular Weight harps for your lamps. If your lamp already has a harp base (metal piece mounted below the socket that looks like rabbit ears) and you want to change the length of your harp, then you can use a Regular Weight harp. A Regular Weight harp will fit either a Regular Weight harp base or a Heavy Duty harp base.

watts is the maximum power recommended for your modeling lamp. This allows the cooling fan to maintain low internal temperatures. It is possible to use a 250-watt quartz lamp if particular care is taken. As a 250-watt bulb produces more heat, you should not operate your flash unit for extended periods of time with this bulb in place. You will need to be cautious when using this bulb, ensuring that there is adequate airflow.

Yes; we do not carry "light duty" scaffolding. Our sets all rate over 60,000 lbs to collapse. Osha generally allows a manufacturer to rate their product with a 4 to 1 load safety margin. We like 16 to 1. So 60,000/16 = 3,750lbs. We like being on the safe side of things. Rest assured that rating our sets at 3,750 with a 16X safety factor should assure you of the ability of one or two men to stand high up with the utmost in safety and confidence.

E-Z Slides are designed to make launching and loading boats easy, if they are crushed under the weight of a heavy boat ? they no longer enable easy loading. The weight limit is in place to avoid crushing of the E-Z Slide pads and any wear that may occur on the underside of the hull.

You need to ask your supplier of the UV material you are trying to cure. Ask them if additional UV energy in the 390nm or 420nm range will provide any benefit.

Bats can be reduced in weight, but generally reducing weight does not affect the balance of the bat. Normally a bat that picks-up heavy will always do so as the density of that piece wood will always dictate. The standard diameter of our galvanized steel frames is ?". If a sturdier frame is required for snow loads, there is an additional charge. A 1" frame will satisfy most snow load requirements. We can make up to a 2” diameter for special load bearing needs.

Eventually, the Heavy Duty Staticide will be abraded off by any friction or if it is washed off with soap and water. Specifically, general vacuuming will not remove the Staticide treatment but shampooing will.

Heavy Duty vehicles are defined as vehicles having a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 8,500 pounds or more as noted on the doorjamb of the vehicle. These vehicles include Campers, Motor Homes and Large Trucks. In addition to the GVWR please also note that Stretch Limo's and Trucks with Dual Rear Wheels must also be processed through the Heavy Duty Lane.

GE does make CFL bulbs for use in 3-way lamps. Check the package for this application. If a regular CFL is use in a 3-way switch, it will work on the middle (medium) setting and it should not damage the bulb. The 3-way switch does not alter the performance of the bulb.
