The Page zooming features zooms all images on a page according to your settings. It does this by changing the style.width and the style.height attributes of each image on the page. This is CPU intensive in the Firefox/Mozilla layout engine if these attributes don't exist. This slows down Firefox/Mozilla considerably when there are many images on a page.
