Every student is trained individually, so there is no fixed school start date. You can come and train when it fits your schedule.

Tutoring begins on Monday, September 19th. The last day of tutoring will be on Reading Day, which falls on Sunday, December 11th.

No. The Course of Study guidelines for service learning projects, internships, and the scholarly proposal can all be worked into the TR Scholar's schedule when most convenient. The Course of Study guidelines offer a reasonable plan for completing the TR Program requirements, but should not be viewed as binding in terms of when requirements are met. If an internship or project is available in one's field in Fall rather than Spring it is acceptable to take it then or even in the summer.

Registration for the fall semester usually begins in July; spring semester registration usually begins in November. Fall classes begin in August and spring classes begin in January. Refer to the PBCC academic calendars for exact dates. Register as early as possible. The Interior Design program has limited enrollment and some courses fill very quickly.

Most applicants who are accepted for the spring semester have been in the undergraduate program in ORIE and have taken classes that are prerequisites for required spring-term courses. It is difficult for graduates of undergraduate programs that are not highly similar to ours to work out a class schedule, unless they plan on taking more than two semesters to complete the M.Eng. program. In 2007, the spring semester starts with registration on January 15. More than 25% of the M.Eng.

COBRA coverage begins on the date that health care coverage would otherwise have been lost by reason of a qualifying event.

Some participants will participate in this professional development experience as a part of their workday, others may only find the time during evenings or weekends.  The two-week seminars begin on a Wednesday to allow those focused more on weekend learning to be in the middle of each week.  We hope this design accommodates the widest range of interest.  Your facilitator will send a welcome e-mail a day or two before you officially begin the session.

A new DPT class begins each August (fall semester) and completes the course of study in three academic years (including two summers). For example, students entering Fall 2006 will graduate in May 2009.

Archeworks is set up as a one year part-time evening program. Students admitted to Archeworks must complete both Fall and Spring semesters in the same school year to receive a certificate. New students are not admitted in the second semester as students are required to start the program at the beginning of the school year.
