gt; broken in before using Mobil-1. What gives?

Oils & Filters FAQs
To correct my original statement, Mobil 1 recommends the use of synthetics in newer cars "after the first recommended oil change." This seems to cover the break-in period. Why do I sometimes get no image or a broken image with FTP?

Webcam32 - Frequently Asked Questions
When using FTP to upload a new image, sometimes you may get a broken or missing image on your browser. This is because there is no file level locking when a Web server gets an image at the same time that an FTP server is changing the image. Although Webcam32 minimizes the risk by creating a temporary file and then renaming at the end to the target file, the rename action is not instantaneous. This error does not occur with either the CGI or HTTP protocols.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Yes. In the Image Link field you can specify links to more than one image. Use a semi-colon to separate the individual links. For example, the following shows what might be in an Image Link field for a case where you have three images (an overall image, a close-up of the cartouche, and a close-up of an inset): Note: You cannot create user-defined fields for additional image links. Only data in the built-in Image Link field will be formatted as one or more clickable links.

How do I dynamically generate a map legend in its own image?

Oracle Application Server 10G MapViewer FAQ
When issuing a map request that contains only a legend spec with no drawable map data (not specifying any basemap/themes/features), MapViewer will generate a map image that contains only the map legend. The broken orange line shows an elongated region of low atmospheric pressure, commonly referred to as a trough. What about broken glass?

The Barefoot FAQ
Yes, broken glass exists, but it is not "all over the place" even on city streets. Unless it's a recent breakage, it gets kicked or swept into cracks, against walls, or right against curbs and isn't strewn about. For the little glass that does remain, again, just watch where you're going! But, for the seasoned barefooter with tough, thick soles, most broken glass is not a problem even if you step directly on it. The following paragraph was contributed by Neil Kelley.

What is better, nine view images or colour image + depth map?

FAQ
When using a 3D render software, you should always use the eight views approach. This will result in best possible images. A 3D image, made of colour image + depth map, doesn't contain information about object edges and will always result in a "relief" of a 2D image. But it can be a suitable way if you are short in time to render a 2D image and save its depth buffer.
