Baked enamel paint uses enamel-based paint applied to the surface of the letters. This provides a smooth, durable, and consistent finish. Like any paint, it isn't eternal. That's why some incur the expense of anodized and oxidized finishes, for permanent colorization. Consider anodized aluminum or oxidized bronze if color permanence is your primary concern.

Surface Preparation: Clean surface thoroughly, removing all grease, oil, loose paint and rust. Sand previously painted surfaces lightly being sure to feather all rough edges. Wipe part to be painted with a tack cloth being careful to remove all dust and paint particles. No primer is required.
