In order to keep your data confidential, your session will automatically expire after X minutes idle time. You can set the amount of minutes in the Preferences. This policy protects your data in case you would leave your computer without closing your session manually.

It may be a browser cache problem. Are you doing multiple things with your Gallery at the same time? E.g. uploading a lot of images in multiple browser Windows at the same time? Then this could explain why one of the Windows gets this message, it's blocked by the other task.
