Every computer has font files installed. However, not everyone has the same fonts installed on their computers. If we do not have the same exact font that the text was created in, the text will 'default' to a less attractive font. Converting fonts to outlines (lines and curves) ensures that the text is exactly how you want it to look. It is no longer necessary for anyone else to have the associated font installed.

Our fonts are standard Windows and Macintosh fonts and should work in any application which follows standard font-handling conventions. They work in almost all modern programs that have a font menu that allows you to choose from the fonts in the system. Very few programs, most notably WordPerfect for Windows have bugs or limitations in them which restrict the use of multilingual fonts. See similar questions...

For example, if there are 10 licenses available in a given area and there are 20 applicants who have maximum points, half of those 20 would be successful. A helicopter radio allows you to setup a pitch and throttle curve. A good radio will have 5 points of adjustment. These points represent five positions of the stick, bottom, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and top. For each of these stick positions you can set a value. This value ranges from 0% to 100% and for the throttle represents the percentage the carb is open. These are 16 bit fonts, with thouousands and thouousands of characters. And the characters are more complex, which means (usually) more bits per character, which means more memory and more processing time. This includes fonts such as kana, kanji, song ti, mincho and gothic. (If you look carefully at the fully qualified font name for gothic via xfontsel, you'll see clues. It's a daewoo font.
