Yes. Electrology has never been a problem for tattoos. In fact it is one of the few hair removal methods that doesn't affect the design.

Please note that this information is not for the purpose of teaching people how to tattoo, but to assist in the public in becoming a more well-informed customer.

The laser emits a focused beam of light which passes harmlessly through the outer layer of skin and is absorbed primarily by the Tattoo ink. The light is converted into heat which breaks the ink into tiny particles. The ink fragments are carried away by the body's lymphatic system. The Tattoo will then fade over a series of treatments. Technology of the past could be quite painful, however, the new technology that we use has vastly improved.

Generally, tattoos heal in about 2-3 weeks after the procedure, during this time, the tattoo should be kept clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight. Many artists recommend the light use of moisturizing lotion on the tattooed area during the healing process. Individual artists may also recommend the use of a topical antibiotic ointment during the first few days of healing.

Depending on how long your tattoo will take and how long you are able to sit for you can do either. It is usually a good idea to discuss this with the tattoo artist beforehand.

The machine is hooked up to a power supply that regulates the amount of electrical current going to the machine. The needle is attached to a needle bar that is inserted into a tube and then attached to the machine itself. The electrical current makes the needles move back and forth at a high rate of speed moving in and out of the tube.

Henna Tattoos work by staining the epidermis (upper layer of your skin). The Henna Tattoo gets darker over the next two days, then it gradually fades away as your body regenerates it’s epidermis.

This is all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want, and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a picture off the wall, or you can have them create a custom piece just for you. Your only limit is your own imagination. As far as where you should get it goes, just keep in mind what you do for work and the type of social circles you are in. You might want to consider placing your tattoo where it can be easily covered up with normal clothing.

Anyone from any walk of life can learn to operate a laser Tattoo providing they have proper training (which we provide). In the states of California, New Jersey, and Florida there are additional requirements. Please ask us for details if you live there.

After your initial consultation, the artists will take a deposit and draw a design for your tattoo. When you approve the drawing, you will set up an appointment to begin your new (or first!) piece. If you change your mind, be sure to call and give us at least 2-3 days notice so your artists can book the time she held open for you. Since many of us book weeks in advance, the sooner you are able to cancel your tattoo the better.

The lasers deliver very short pulses of high intensity light into the treated area. The tattoo inks and pigments then selectively absorb the light without destroying the normal surrounding skin tissue in the process. The tattoo is dissolved into smaller ink particles that are harmlessly removed by the body's immune system in the weeks following treatment.

We suggest wearing the patch on a part of your body that is not tattooed. It is unknown whether the tattoo would affect how the patch would work, or if the tattoo coloring would change.

You should wait at least 2 weeks before exposing your tattoo to the sun or tanning beds. It is a good idea to apply sunscreen to a tattoo before exposing it to the sun.
