Be ready to carry your own bags and pack light! Airlines allow one checked bag, and one carry-on bag. Excess luggage may be subject to an airline penalty of $100 per bag excess. Motor coach tours provide for porterage of one piece of checked luggage, pre-paid; excess bags may be charged a daily surcharge by the porters at hotels.

Yes. Most airlines limit the number of pieces to two (2) checked and one (1) carry-on. The checked pieces may not exceed 62 linear inches, total of Length + Height + Width, or 70 pounds in weight and the carry-on is limited to 9" x 14" x 22" (maximum 45 linear inches) or 40 pounds in weight. Airlines have the right to impose further restrictions. Please check with airline before counseling your passengers.

Your luggage will be transferred on the trip by our guides. It will be waiting in your room, ready for you when you arrive each day. You never carry your bags during a tour.

The tests performed are ‘screening’ tests and are different from diagnostic tests. The screen cannot detect all inborn errors of metabolism. The test may fail to identify some babies with these disorders, and some babies may test positive who may not actually have the disorder. Sometimes babies who are born prematurely, who are underweight at birth, or who may have received a blood transfusion can test positive, but not have the disorder.

For domestic travel on most U.S. carriers each ticketed passenger is allowed up to two pieces of checked luggage. Maximum weight for each bag is typically 50 pounds (23kg) and a maximum total linear dimension (length plus width plus height) of 62 inches (158 cm). Excess baggage is subject to surcharges. TIP: Do not lock your checked luggage. Security officials may have to open your bag in the screening process.

For domestic flights, each ticketed passenger is entitled to three bags, including one carry-on bag. So, a passenger could carry on one bag and "check" two additional bags aboard the aircraft. All carry-on bags must fit inside an overhead bin or underneath your seat.
