My Goldendoodles have mostly wavy to slightly curly coats. My reds, golds, and creams shed very lightly to not at all. I have seen this in person by attending Doodle Romps where my puppies have grown into adults. You read and hear of so many classifications of coats, such as fleecy, flat, wavy, woolly. Generally, these terms fit the Labradoodle and not necessarily the Goldendoodle. For the most part, my Goldendoodles will be soft to the touch and wavy in appearance.

We do not take deposits for puppies at any time prior to the puppies being born. After the puppies are born we have a better idea of how many puppies will be available. We may take deposits any time after the puppies are born and up until they are 8 weeks old. We do not take deposits for more puppies that we plan to sell. Deposits are in the amount of half the total purchase price with the remaining half due at pick up. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

All puppies/litters from Woodcrest are raised in our home where they get near constant attention from both us and their Airedale Mother. Every litter is different and we adjust our methods to the needs of the litter and individual puppies. We keep the puppies and their living areas as clean as possible; their Mother helps with this too.

We don't like to cross-pollinate when it comes to paint systems! Most manufacturers suggest that you "stick with a system" and that's what we do! The vast majority of our work is done with "House of Kolor" products, so we use HOK clear in those applications (UC-35 & UFC-35). In instances where we use PPG basecoats, we'll use a PPG clear. Most of our jobs end up with 5-8 total coats of clear, depending on the graphics used on the job.

I have applied 1 coat of formula 5 to my cedar home, and I am very happy with the color. Why do you recommend 3 applications? I don't want it to change the color. Applying additional coats of The Boss™ will not necessarily affect the final color. If you have followed closely our specific instructions for proper preparation prior to application of product, you would already know the reason for multiple coats.

We get our puppies from breeders all across the United States. Some of the breeders we have been working with for up to 20 years. For our clients protection we require a one year warranty against problems associated with bad breeding and we pass the warranty along to our clients. All our breeders must hold a U.S.D.A.

Usually not. Most dogs are at least 3 years old. But we do sometimes get dogs as young as 1 year. The only time we received puppies was after the raid on the Bergman Puppy Mill.

We give a package which includes puppy care and training, photos of relatives (mom, dad, grandparents), copies of the parents' testing of hips, eyes etc. A pedigree or family tree is provided. We give information of the proper feeding and the feeding schedule. The registration papers will follow once the puppy is registered with the CKC. Remember that all purebred dogs must have registration papers provided.

We deworm the puppies and monitor their weight every week. We also trim their toenails, brush their hair, and trim any excess hair around their eyes and their behind. This weekly routine is a very important ritual; not only does it keep our pups looking and feeling great, it also prepares them for future grooming and handling.

Trimming your dog's nails is not usually considered sharing "quality time" with your beloved pet. But when done often enough, with the proper technique, and rewards for your dog's good behavior, it should be one of those regular grooming events that your dog will tolerate if not look forward to. If not done often enough, with proper technique, and reward- training, it can be frightening and even painful for your dog.

Our Airedales are priced comparably with other high quality pure bred dogs. Some litters may be priced differently than others based on the particular breeding. Please contact us to get an idea of purchase price of one of our puppies, but keep in mind that that price may change at any time up until we take a deposit from you. Generally we know how much puppies from a particular breeding will be by the time the breeding takes place.
