First of all your hot tub should be suited to our climate in the UK. Its all very well getting a hot tub designed for use in tropical climates but the inevitable will happen, and it will rain in the UK. Your new hot tub should be able to stand up to it. Most hot tubs sold in the UK are made of fibreglass with a metal frame with wood cladding. Fibreglass does not stand up well to frost and can be prone to cracking.
