If soap and water doesn’t work, there is a product called Safety Klean by Prosoco that should do the trick. Do not use paint remover, petroleum or acid based products as they may stain or actually damage the deck.

COVERAGE - The application rate of driveway sealers and resurfacers is important. If you don't use enough, you've left untreated areas of the driveway. If you use too much, the sealer will never "set up" and it the excess will track into your home. If your car's paint is in good condition to begin with, the adhesive will not cause damage. Plate may be removed with the aid of a hair dryer to soften adhesive. Krylon Fusion sticks direclty to plastic, but it is very sensitive to solvents (and gasoline) even after drying for a month or more. It does much better if you topcoat it with urethane clear coat with flex agent. The best bet may still be plasticizer additives to regular paint, and an adhesion promoter such as Bulldog # ETPO-123. Paving stones can be shoveled and plowed the same as a concrete or asphalt pavement. It's not a recommended practice. The best results are achieve by applying body filler over bare steel or fiberglass which has been sanded with rough sandpaper (app. 36-40 grit). The rough scratches give the filler something to "bite" to. Steel is also porous and helps provide better adhesion.
