No notation will be made on your transcript if you drop courses or withdraw from Summer Sessions prior to the last day of the session. But be sure to verify your Summer Sessions enrollment status. The computer system will not automatically pick up a repeated course. When the repeated class has been graded, submit a completed Repeat Form to Enrollment Services. The original grade remains on the record and the lower graded course is marked as a repeated course. The highest grade received will be used to calculate the cumulative grade point average. Initially your GPA does not affect a Federal PELL Grant, but if you have a problem with academic progress aid may be denied, including loans. The CalGrant is GPA dependent, and you will need to have either your high school or your college GPA submitted to the California Student Aid Commision. This situation occurs if you complete courses after your degree has been posted. Your degree is posted as of a fixed date and is not changed. If you later finish incompletes in elective courses, or take further coursework which changes your cumulative GPA, your degree GPA will not be changed.
