There are only two options available: replace them with the OEM part (not a good option if you drive a lowered car) or you can modify the stock strut housing to hold a Koni front insert. For cars that spend a lot of time traveling in a straight line, a very small amount of toe-in (1/16" to 1/32") will help keep the car tracking straight. It took about 3 hours for one side, which was broken. The other side is not broken, but I will do it anyway, since its rusted, winter is coming, and I put a new strut cartridge on one side. The worst part is cutting the old seat off. I used a powered hacksaw (really a small bandsaw), made by Milwaukee, which is bulky and heavy, but cuts a lot faster than I do by hand...
