There are only two options available: replace them with the OEM part (not a good option if you drive a lowered car) or you can modify the stock strut housing to hold a Koni front insert. After I lower my car, do I need to have it re-aligned?

Neuspeed Frequently Asked Questions .:.. .
Yes. Lowering your car changes your alignment specifications. At a minimum, you will need to have the front toe specification reset. For cars that spend a lot of time traveling in a straight line, a very small amount of toe-in (1/16" to 1/32") will help keep the car tracking straight. For performance driving, a slight amount of toe-out (1/16") will help your car turn into corners faster. Your car may also need to have the camber and caster specifications checked and adjusted. Shocks and struts dampen the movement of your wheels as they roll over ruts, bumps, and potholes in the street. Their job is to make your vehicle ride smoother and more comfortable. More importantly, they make your ride safer. Without a shock or strut, your wheel would bounce out of a pothole and then just keep bouncing, for a long period of time. The most important job of the shocks and struts is to keep your wheels on the road, where they belong, so the driver can maintain control. See similar questions...

How do I replace the strut tower lower spring?

Suspension FAQs
It took about 3 hours for one side, which was broken. The other side is not broken, but I will do it anyway, since its rusted, winter is coming, and I put a new strut cartridge on one side. The worst part is cutting the old seat off. I used a powered hacksaw (really a small bandsaw), made by Milwaukee, which is bulky and heavy, but cuts a lot faster than I do by hand...
