You can record any file up to the amount of empty hard drive space that you have in your system. The software currently 'caps' recordings at 2GB in length. This means that you can record 2048MB of data. At 44.1kHz, 16-bit stereo (CD format for audio), this would amount to roughly 200 minutes of audio data. You can, of course, also record more tracks, but we will always have to work with whatever empty hard drive space is available.

DJ-1800 doesn't include a record feature at the moment. However, there are two pieces of software which enable you to record DJ-1800's output (and indeed any other application's output) to a file.
