Unfortunately there is no way for me to determine where on your PC you downloaded the files to. Your best bet is to download them again and make sure you save them to your desktop so that you know where they are.

All files posted on our website are virus-free at the time they are uploaded and rechecked regularly to make sure they are still safe. We run virus protection software on our system that is checked constantly and updated as soon as new virus patterns are released. We use firewalls in addition to virus software to protect against viruses coming into our system. We also scan our entire system weekly for even more assurance against the possibility of a virus.

Some sites take steps to stop people downloading files without looking at the web page containing the file hyperlink. If you open the file you have downloaded with Notepad or Wordpad ( even if it says it is an image file like .jpg ) you may well find that it is in fact an html page that you have been diverted to.

The files at this web page are compressed archives. This means that there are several files wrapped up into one single file (archive) which is shrunk down in size (compressed) so that it doesn't take as long to download. You need to decompress the archives before you do anything else.

Graphic design programs allow you to design in different color spaces. The RGB color space refers to the primary colors Red, Green and Blue used in computer monitors, video cameras, and televisions. If you are designing images to be viewed in these mediums (like images for a webpage), then working in the RGB color space is fine.
