Special provisions may apply to travel to Canada, Mexico and neighboring islands. If traveling on OPT or Academic Training, please carry a letter from your employer.

If you are a non-resident visitor, to enter Ontario/Canada, you will need a valid passport and a valid visa (if necessary). You must have a valid passport with expiration date not less than 6 months after your return date. No visas are necessary for individuals with U.S. or Canadian passports. Keep your passport with you at all times.

Citizens of the US and Canada do not require a visa to go to Jamaica as tourists and are permitted to visit the island for a period not exceeding six months. Citizens 16 years and older of these countries may use the following documents for entry: valid passport (or passport which has expired for a period not exceeding one year), or an original Birth Certificate (with raised seal) along with a photo ID (documents must bear the same name). Residents may use an alien registration card.

All visitors must hold a passport or a valid travel document. Please note that the validity of these documents must not be less than 30 days since the day you enter Macau. If travel arrangements are made through an agent, the visa processing is handled by Macau tour operators.

There is "increased vigilance" by Canada Customs as you will need to provide photo identification and proof of citizenship. You should expect incremental delays in the processing of arriving international travelers at Canada's airports.

You will always need a valid passport. You may or may not need a visa, depending on which country we will be visiting. For our project in India, you will need to apply for special permission to enter the protected area where we work. We will provide you with detailed country-specific information about travel documents. You may also find information at the State Department web site.

However a certified copy of a U.S. Birth certificate, a naturalization certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or a Certification of Citizenship accompanied by a picture ID such as a driver's license will should also suffice. More stringent requirements may apply if you are traveling with minors.

You will need to provide a notarized birth certificate and photo ID or a passport at the airport when you check in. The US government will be requiring passports for travel to Mexico soon, so it's advisable to get a passport if you don't have one. You will also need a Tourist Card, which will be provided to you by your airline.
