There are too many loose interpretation about what the aggregation "diamond" means. Our view in Catalysis is that the notation is the least of the concerns; the interpretation is of essence. You can create a Catalysis framework for "every <X> is lifetime-dependent on that <Y> instance which is its <r> attribute", and then use that as a stereotype on any association.
