A real easy way to do it is to ground it to one of the seat bracket bolts, just make sure that it goes in this order from the bottom up: floor, ground connection, seat. When connecting the ground, make sure all paint and/or rust has been thoroughly scraped or grinded away. Use a star washer to help the ground really dig into the metal. Swimming Pool FAQ
Two to three feet is ideal.. Any more than that and you run a bigger risk of the pool caving in. You always want to make sure the water level is higher than the dirt. If the pool is to far into the ground and the ground around it gets to wet it could easily cave in. It is also a good idea to wait at least two years after the pool is installed before draining it. This give the dirt around it plenty of time to pack. Even then the pool should be drained and refilled in a day or two.

Why wood not fibreglass?

Kisscat - Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't we fully fibreglass the exterior surface of our Kisscats rather than just the joins and bottom of hulls? Our answer is that it's not necessary! It's not necessary for strength and not necessary for sealing. It adds weight, adds costs - and maintenance becomes infinitely harder. On a Kisscat the exterior ply surface has been soaked with a penetrating epoxy, making the external veneer 50% timber and 50% epoxy.

Yes. As soon as there is any water being placed into the pool during the construction, a fence is needed around the pool.

What is the best type of landscaping for around my above ground pool?

above ground pools faq
Anything but grass. Grass will grow under the pool and up through the liner or up the wall between liner and pool, or up the inside of the uprights creating great habitat for bugs and wasps. I prefer some type of rock landscape and it is best to use plastic under it because the water splashing out of the pool makes any vegetation grow very quickly. Plants should only be container type plants. They are easy to move when changing liners and they don't grow roots under the pool.
