All students applying for admission to CentER graduate programs must take either the GRE or the GMAT. Those pursuing a business program are required to take the GMAT. Those applying for economics programs must take the GRE. Applications that do not include GRE/GMAT scores will not be considered.

Most students applying to a master's or doctoral degree program should submit a GRE or GMAT score. The GMAT is required for all applicants to the MBA program, as well as for the MS programs in taxation and accounting. In general, we require a score of 90% or higher on the analytical section of the GMAT or the analytical and quantitative section of the GRE. It is very rare that an applicant with a score below 85% is accepted, unless there are very strong counter-balancing factors, such as an outstanding undergraduate academic performance, or compelling evidence of extenuating circumstances.

Yes. The GMAT is required as part of our admission requirements. Most AASCSB accredited graduate business programs require the GMAT for admission. We view the GMAT score as one of the key indicators of potential success in our program, and we must be consistent in the application of our admissions policy. Therefore, all applicants must submit an acceptable GMAT score.

The clinical psychology program has established no firm “cut-off” scores—other than the minimum grade point average required by the university—for admission to the program. All applications are evaluated individually on a case-by-case basis. However, our program receives applications from more individuals than we have the resources to admit. Space and financial considerations therefore require us to deny admission to a number of otherwise qualified candidates.
