Undergraduate courses offered by the schools Arts & Sciences and Engineering are designed for full-time students enrolled in degree programs, but Johns Hopkins does allow a small number of students each semester to take courses for personal or professional enrichment as visiting students. Visiting students are not enrolled in a degree program, but they may take courses in these two schools for a maximum of two semesters.
