Yes, in some cases. In Canada, if you changed jobs and are moving closer to your work you may qualify for a deduction of moving expenses. These expenses would include costs of selling your house and part of those costs would be staging. If you are selling revenue property, I believe the cost of staging would be deductable as a cost of selling and would reduce your capital gains.
