SWF files is the compiled version of flash presentation for VIEWING only. FLA file is the source code file of the flash presentation, which can be edited and re-compiled.

FLA is the commonly used format by Macromedia Flash software. This is the source code of the published (SWF format) Flash animations. The Flash 5 format FLA supported by the following programs: Macromedia Flash 5, Flash MX, Flash MX 2004 and Flash 8.

Compared to .SWF files, which is an open standard, .FLA files are reasonably complex, so this option will be much more difficult to implemented in FlaX. Beware that due to the complex movements of most of the effects, just like the .SWF file, also the .FLA file would consist of key frames only. It's most likely that you've placed your text outside the visible area. Choose for the "Center Text" option from the "View" pulldown menu, and the text will appear again.

Flash (.swf) files are material that have been created using Macromedia Flash. You can view this material online but you need to have installed the free Macromedia Flash browser plug-in.

Tramigo has been designed to process SWF files generated in Macromedia Flash MX. We expect that any SWF files conforming to this format (even those that are not generated in Flash MX) can be translated using Tramigo, provided text items in these files are implemented as dynamic text fields. Note that Tramigo does not support translation of SWF files generated in Flash 5 or earlier versions.

htm file: You can double-click the file to play SWF file in your web browser. If you do not want to generate the file, please go to "Options" -> "SWF Options" and uncheck "Create HTML file".

Click "Options" -> "Output Options" tab, choose "Specify folder" for "Output Folder", and then "Specific Folder" below will be enabled. Click "Browse" button to choose an output folder.

If the FLA file was created on a PC, you might experience a problem seeing those files when you choose File& Open from within Macromedia Flash MX 2004 on a Macintosh. You can correct this by changing the Show option to All Files.

Because these are DYNAMIC Flash templates, the necessity to modify and recompile .FLA source file is eliminated, therefore the .FLA files are not included with the basic template prices. .FLA files can be purchased at an additional cost (see product descriptions for purchase options).

Sothink SWF Quicker is a Flash movie creator. Most function of it are like Flash and furthermore, it supports importing and editing movie files in *.swf format. Sothink SWF Decompiler is an excellent tool to recover SWF to FLA. It can catch, decompile, view, and extract Shockwave Flash movies (.swf and .exe files), especially convert your SWF to FLA, but can not be used to create or edit movie.

You must multi-select file pressing left mouse button and "Ctrl" button or "Shift" button at the same time as operating windows explorer files.

This is possible, but FotoMaps was not built with this purpose in mind. If you specify a SWF file instead of a JPG image for the photo path, you can load any kind of Flash movie you want - text, animation , audio, video, etc. Beware that loading memory intensive files into your FotoMap may slow it down.

Flash will not import .swf files in the entirety that contain Actionscript, audio, video, or movie clips. You must either use the loadMovie actionscript command to load the .swf file, or export as a .fla file from Text-Osterone which can then be directly opened in Flash.

You need to make sure these swf file use absolute path to load each others. If they use relative path, then you need to download all swf files and create the same sub directory structure for the downloaded swf files.
