Add the following entry to the user-specific application-neutral or application-specific domain (see section Configuration File): This will make sure that the BugPlug plugin runs in either you or any Crystal Space application (dependent on the config domain you chose). BugPlug shows FPS (among other things) and is otherwise not harmful. You can also use BugPlug to make screenshots (press Ctrl-d followed by F12). See section Using the BugPlug Debugging Plugin.

Depending on the speed of the CPU, the camera will produce up to 30 frames-per-second motion in a finished video (window) size of 160 x 120. Because the DVC325 uses direct digital video instead of NTSC or PAL, it will work on all USB-equipped PCs. Since it draws its power from the computer, you do not need special power adapters.

Images per second and frames per second are both the same. They describe the video image that is stored.

The frames-per-second rate on Beamer TV ranges from 4 fps to 15 fps. The frame rate is based on all of the following factors: connection rate, motion in the image, line quality, and the detail/movement setting.

By default, there are 20 frames in a second. However, this number varies noticably from computer to computer.

The frames per second (fps) relates to how many pictures the DVR will record in a second. Real time recording is about 30 fps on each camera. To calculate the fps per camera, take the total fps in the system and divide it by the number of video inputs. For example, a 60 fps digital video recorder with 4 video inputs would result in about 15 fps per camera. The technology has finally gotten to the point now where real time recording is affordable.

When you search on Google for that question, you'll see answers vary a lot. However, on one thing all agree: the minimum value of frames per second a movie should be using in order not to have the flickering perceived. Depending on the viewing conditions and the person, the answer seems to be from 25 to 60 Hz ("frames per second"). Below 25 Hz, a movie would appear to be a series of still shots, not a moving picture.

Although not the best way, you can measure your FPS by typing 'set fps 1' in the console. You can turn it off by typing 'set fps 0'

The number of frames per second is the author's choice. In general, the higher the number of frames per second is, the more fluid the flow of images in the movies becomes. The choice of the frame rate also depends on the medium the movie is created for. For cinema animation 24 frames per second are used (generally the actual images are 12, with two shots of the camera, that is two frames for each image).

If 1 camera only is installed, MMS DVR would be able to record 25 FPS. Alternatively the 25 Frames will be divided for the number of cameras installed per Frame Grabber. For IP cameras, the number of FPS which can be recorded, depend on the IP camera itself (see network camera User’s manual to check the camera FPS) and the LAN conditions.

Because movies were originally designed to run at 24 frames per second, and since everyone wants to make a "film", there is an almost cultlike feel among those who wish to shoot 24fps. The reality is that most of those movies will be "upconverted" to 30fps (actually 29.97 if you want to be stuffy about it) because that is the speed of video. So if you can shoot at 30 frames per second progressive scan, you're better off than shooting 24. Nonetheless, the mystique of 24 fps continues.

You need the source code, which you can obtain in a variety of ways. See section Where to Get Crystal Space. You also need a compiler and development system for the platform which you are using. Some of the supported compilers are GCC (including MingW and Cygwin), MSVC and Code Warrior.

A compiled executable program such as ‘walktest’ or ‘csdemo’, for example. These are demo programs included in the main source archive. Note that there exist two types of executables: statically linked and dynamically linked. If you have a statically linked executable then you don't need any of the following drivers. Otherwise you will need the remaining items. Several plugins for those applications. On and Windows (32 bit) plugins will be ‘.DLL’ files.

The API which you can find in the 0.90 release should be about 95% stable as compared to the 1.0 release. After 1.0 we will make sure to keep backwards compatibility (until we release 2.0 :-)

Don't let sloped ceilings stop you from having the room you need. Add dormers to increase the height of the outside wall and create more second floor living space. Choose either shed or gable roof dormers to provide the exterior style you prefer.
