From a request from a major production boat company in 2005, all OceanLED lights are fitted with Plug & Play connectors from the world renowned connector manufacturer Deutsch. All connectors are IP68 rated and comply with ABYC regulations, E11. We also recommend a synthetic connector grease to maximise connector performance, check the accessories page for further details.

CE Series amplifiers feature Neutrik Speakon connectors for output wiring. Speakons allow both channels of amplifier output to be wired to the same connector. See Crown's ProGuide for using the Speakon NL4FC assembly for complete instructions (pdf file, requires Adobe Acrobat to read).

The K3 has a rich set of I/O connections. In addition to the usual key jack, paddle jack, etc., there is a 15-pin D-series connector. It includes: band data, two configurable 5V logic inputs (e.g., for FSK) and two configurable 5V logic outputs, remote power switch input, PTT, key and auxbus (e.g., for a KRC2 or transverter). While this connector looks like a VGA video connector, it is not. The K3 does not provide any sort of video output.

The name "PC/104" is derived from the fact that there are 104 pins on the two bus connectors which carry signals between modules. P1 has 64 pins and P2 has 40.

QKB15S Keyboard Controllers are powered by +12 VDC usually from a wall transformer. The Q101, Q103, and Q137 Power modules provide DC power via a 6 pin female connector. The voltages available are +15VDC, -15VDC, and +5VDC - all well regulated. The keyboard controller has it's own internal regulator and only needs about 9VDC - 18VDC at less than 50ma. So you can provide power to the keyboard by a short cable from one of the modules. When you turn your system off, the keyboard will also go off.

The USB connector allows you to perform direct digital recording via the Bass PODXT’s drivers. For Windows® users, these drivers support ASIO, WDM, MME/Direct Sound and MIDI. For Macintosh® OS9 users, these drivers support ASIO and Sound Manager.

The following zipped file is an example of the necessary hardware connection to a system's parallel port. The software is written in simple debugger commands under DOS to turn the powers and signals on the extender to on and off states. User can also use a digital output boards to achieve the same IXCABLE.zip.

This is a SPDIF connection for digital recording of channels 1 and 2. It runs at a sample rate of 48 kHz. Channels 3 and 4 aren't included in this output. This rear panel connector can be used to insert modulation signals onto a carrier. In conjunction with modes such as AM, FM, SSB, Ext Mod can even provide communication signals at the SIG OUT connector.

The logged in user needs to have Local Administrator rights on the eCopy ShareScan OP Manager machine in order to properly configure the Exchange connector. If using multiple Exchange servers, the eCopy ShareScan OP user for each server must have a unique and different name. Do not install the eCopy ShareScan OP Services Manager on the same machine as the Exchange Server. Rather, install on a machine where Outlook 2000/2002-SP3/2003 is installed.

The eCopy ShareScan OP Services Manager should be shut down before making any changes to the Lotus Notes Connector settings. If using Lotus Notes 4.x, the path variables must be added manually. This is a limitation of Lotus Notes 4.x. When using Domino version 6, you will not be able to send mail from personal accounts. You must use a generic account.

The PCI Bus has 5V, +12V and -12V being supplied to it. The 3.3V connector is necessary for compliance with the PCI specification. If you require 3.3 volts supplied to the PCI bus, you will need a special power supply or voltage regulator. - Go to Top

For historical reason, ST connectors have been the workhorses in FORJ applications even though ST connectors are known to have inferior optical performance. Furthermore, ST connectors cannot be polished at an angle for better return loss figure. All Princetel's singlemode FORJs come with unmatched return loss figures, which make ST connectors grossly inadequate.

To visually inspect a connector one can use a low-cost portable fiber inspector microscope. It should not cost more than $300 per unit. And it comes with battery and carrying case. Look for defect such as pits or scratches on the fiber face especially around the core of the fiber. To verify the visual inspection one can add a small mount of index matching oil or gel in between both ferrule faces.

The MultiLink Adapter comes with three different interface cables to support DVI, DFP, and VGA connections. All three cables are included, so there is no need to specify which one you will need when ordering the MultiLink Adapter. Users will choose which cable to use with MultiLink during setup, depending on what type of graphics card output connector they have.
