The chances are very good that your city itself does appear in the NAV system's map data. However, unless you live in the city limits of a metropolitan area, there is a significant chance that the street coverage for your area is not comprehensive. This contrasts with other GPS navigation systems, such as the Garmin Street Pilot line that includes every public road, (and many private roads) in the US as of the date of the map data.

Press the hard button on the Navigation system that resembles a musical note. A screen will appear that allows you to adjust the audio output of the system.
