Subtitles can only be placed on top of the video. Placing the subtitles below the original video is possible by enlarging the video frame. This is done by adding black bars to the top and bottom of the video. These black bars will be visible when the video is not in fullscreen. You need to SET UP the disc by selecting SET UP from the Picture This DVD main menu. There you can choose which subtitles or closed-captions you would like to appear.
