If you notice one of your links is not working correctly, you can get new code from the LinkShare Create Links section. If the new code is not working, please contact us through the affiliate contact form and we will fix it immediately.

Affiliates are able to run reports on Commission Junction that monitor broken links; affiliates can then adjust accordingly.

After you run a links reports, you can fix broken links and image references directly in the Link Checker panel, or you can open files from the list and fix links in the Property inspector. In the Broken Links column (not the Files column) of the Link Checker panel (in the Results panel group), select the broken link. The old version of generating and rendering the radar image was becoming very unreliable. We experienced many network and hardware problems with the old displays that caused outages on the website even when the radar was functioning. Additionally, there were requests for the radar image to be made available for GIS users and the old version was incapable to producing the output.

DipZoom is “an approach to provide focused, on-demand Internet measurements.” By creating a Peer-to-Peer network of hosts around the world, clients can issue requests to specific hosts to perform various network measurements including curl, ping, traceroute, and dig. For my purposes, I wanted to be able to download a single webpage from many different hosts located around the world to see if a problem detected on one host would appear differently or not at all at another host.

Repairs can be made with Oil Paste, which allows you to join fired pieces back together. You can also use Oil Paste instead of flux and solder.

If you have one of the exposed Type K thermocouples you can break away some of the ceramic at the end and twist the two wires together. Or you can use an acetylene torch to reweld the tip (using Borax to dip the hot tip into afterwards to prevent undue oxidation). This may get you by for a little while. There is no way to repair one of the industrial metal sheathed thermocouples.

When you have relative links in a page (a relative link is a link that doesn't start with '/' or 'http://') your web browser guesses the correct location of the links based on the page you're at. However, if your page is generated by a template, then the browser thinks you're in something like the /cgi-bin/ directory... not very helpful. The best way to get round this is to add a BASE element in your HTML templates which will let the browser know where it should generate links from.

Generally not. I've got my hands full as it is keeping all of the machines in the museum up and running. Many of these machines use parts which simply do not exist anymore today, and it can be very difficult to track down replacement parts. Service information on these old machines is also hard to find, making troubleshooting very tedious and time-consuming. A broken link is a hyperlink which does not work, sometimes because the target file is missing, has been moved, or has no public read permission. Another reason the link may not be working is because of an error in the code syntax. After you run the Auditor scan for your site, you will see a list of Web pages with small signs marking each problem page. If you see an exclamation mark, this means the page has a potential problem, and if you see a red cross, the page has a serious error.
