Microwave ovens, coffee makers and corn poppers are permitted in residence hall rooms. Efficiency-size refrigerators are available for rental in student rooms. Items not listed below are generally permitted in the residence halls. Students typically bring popcorn poppers and coffee makers, as well as “hot pots” with thermostats. The following items are prohibited and will be confiscated, not returned, and disciplinary action may be taken.

No guests of the opposite sex should be allowed in the rooms at any time. Students may use the lounges to socialize. Exceptions will be granted by The School of Continuing and Professional studies on a case by case basis. We ask parents and students to provide us with dates, in advance, from which they will be away from the program. Family members will be able to sign the students out for the day and/or night depending on approval by the student's legal guardians.
