There are no classes on national holidays. Intensive students will be refunded 500 yen per canceled class. When Monday is a national holiday, there will be no classes, but level check test and orientation for new students will still be performed

Yes. We are open from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. 7 days a week. Please call for special hours on Christmas Day if necessary.

The library is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and one other day in December. The library is also closed during inclement weather when County offices are also closed. It is often is cheaper to avoid making a trip during a National Holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday is taken off as a holiday.

Smiths Schools do not open Sundays or National holidays (15 per year). We also close down for Golden week in May, Oborn in August, and Oshiyogatsu in December / January. Students' lessons are considered and where necessary, Smith's administrative staff will negotiate "make up lesson" times with your students to ensure they take their lesson and thus there is no reduction in income to the franchisee.

The residence halls close for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring breaks. Students must vacate their rooms by the closing hours posted during those times. For Christmas break and May closing, students are to leave within 24 hours of their last exam. The residence halls will re-open once the College is back in session. Parents and students should make travel arrangements well in advance so that students may leave the halls by the required time for each break period.

Both facilities are open on holidays with the exception of New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The yard waste facility has abbreviated weekly hours during the months of January, February, and March.

Most branches especially airport branches are open on Sundays but for shorter times than weekdays so make sure you check, as pick ups and drop offs outwith normal hours are usually possible but can cost, especially pick ups. Most large firms open as normal on bank holidays but most are closed Xmas Day and New Years Day and operate reduced services on 26 dec and 2 Jan.

A Yes. The library is open for a part of all holidays. Students will be notified in advance of the dates and times of opening.

The studios are open all year except for 4 - 5 weeks over Christmas. We close early December and re-open mid January.

The Sun ‘N Fun program is closed during all legal and school holidays. Special day programs and a spring break camp are offered to provide care when school is not in session. Sun ‘N Fun will be open to accommodate parent/teacher conference days with separate registration required.
