How does Zinc alloy #3 compare with alloy #5?

Eastern Alloys, Inc.
The two alloys are very similar and are often interchanged. Thus, exactly the same parts, such as car door handles, may be made with #5 alloys in Germany and #3 alloys in UK. Alloy #3 has slightly better ductility than #5, which is useful for components that have to be riveted or swaged. Alloy #5 has slightly better tensile and creep properties, so may perform better when stresses are high. See similar questions...

Can a Keyboard controller be powered from a DC din connector?

Synthesizers.com --- FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
QKB15S Keyboard Controllers are powered by +12 VDC usually from a wall transformer. The Q101, Q103, and Q137 Power modules provide DC power via a 6 pin female connector. The voltages available are +15VDC, -15VDC, and +5VDC - all well regulated. The keyboard controller has it's own internal regulator and only needs about 9VDC - 18VDC at less than 50ma. So you can provide power to the keyboard by a short cable from one of the modules. When you turn your system off, the keyboard will also go off. See similar questions...
