The length of time from first applying for admission to a person coming to live at Pathfinder Village varies, and depends when a vacancy opens. Once a vacancy occurs and a candidate is selected, a pre-admission review is scheduled and date of admission is established. During the pre-admission review we will encourage you to meet with the staff of the Kennedy-Willis Center on Down Syndrome.

Bank statement: The bank statement is a separate letter, which comes from the sponsor’s personal bank. It explains the amount of funds available in the sponsor’s bank account. The letter must be clearly state that the sponsor’s bank account has the required balance in U.S. currency. Support letter: A Letter of Support is required for all international applicants. The letter should clearly explain whether the student is supporting him or herself or depending on someone else.

The pattern followed for IIRS is first screening of applications for suitability, then a screening test is conducted and then interview. There is no format of screening test and any type of (suitable) questions, mainly related to General Knowledge related to the course can be asked. Moreover it also depends on number of applications. In case of a few applications no screening may be required. For M.Tech and MSc. ( long term courses) it takes 3 months time for selection process.

The application process can usually take anywhere from 1-3 weeks ? occasionally longer (given the time of year). However, in the event that interested participants require their application expedited due to time constraints, they are requested to contact Global Crossroad's offices prior to submitting their application.
