Iris will thrive in most well-drained garden soils. Planting on a slope or in raised beds helps ensure good drainage. If your soil is heavy, coarse sand or humus may be added to improve drainage. Gypsum is an excellent soil conditioner that can improve most clay soils. The ideal pH is 6.8 (slightly acidic), but iris are tolerant in this regard. To adjust the pH of your soil, lime may be added to acidic soils or sulfur to alkaline soils.

After the mix is completed and approved, films generally require a last step called Printmastering, that combines the various stems into a final composite soundtrack. When this is completed, an optical or digital sound track can be created for a feature film release print. It is also usual at this time to run an 'M & E' (which stands for Music and Effects) track. This is essentially the film's soundtrack with the English language dialogue removed.

By putting a layer of soil conditioner of about 75mm on top of the clay soil then dig it in and mix it with the soil, the organic matter will help break down the heavy clay lumps and make the soil more manageable. This is best done annually.

Skip MNZ4 - You have 8 inches of good soil in Zone 5 so I would think you could plant the bulbs at 6, maybe 7, inches. The problem is not that tulips won't do well in clay but it's that the clay underlayment acts as a barrier to good drainage and if you have really wet conditions this may, indeed, lead to rotting of the bulbs. The Hyacinths can go in at the same depth as the tulips while the Muscari can go in at 5 inches.

Nothing will change in terms of the approval and construction standards if a septic system is applied for under the Interim Ordinance. The Interim Ordinance will allow certain types of advanced systems to be installed (systems which have been approved in the past via a Board of Supervisors' variance). Standard septic systems will continue to be allowed under in the new Ordinance using the same approval and construction standards currently in place under the Interim Ordinance.

The key to gardening in Colorado is soil. Apply 3 inches of organics on top of your clay soil, which should be rototilled to a 6- to 10-inch depth. We recommend Nature's Yield® Compost.

Good soil does contain particles of clay, sand, and silt, however sand does not improve clay soil. Adding sand to clay makes cement! To improve any soil, always add organic matter.

Rent a dump truck and a back hoe and learn how to use a jack hammer if you happen to live on a caliche bed. Or maybe you'll be removing lots of rock from the soil just to make room for your plant's roots. If you're planting native plants maybe all you need is to dig a hole large enough to hold the root ball. If you're planting on a bed of caliche you may have to knock a hole through it to make sure to provide good drainage of shrub or tree.

There may be a difference between the way a value is written and the way it's spoken. For example, someone's height is usually given in meters or centimeters - 1.76 m or 176 cm - but it's sometimes spoken as "one meter seventy-six," even though it's not written that way.

Continue the same practices you have been using like mulching and fertilizing, but you can cut down on the fertilizing. Back to Top

Beat mixing is a skill typically associated with club DJ's. Songs with similar beats per minute (BPM) are blended together to keep dancers on the floor and sustain the energy of the party. Although beat mixing is less important to the wedding DJ, it is a skill that will enhance the energy of your reception. If your DJ has no beat mixing skill, there will be dead air or awkward transitions between songs and dancers will be much more likely to leave the floor.

Certain caravans or trailers have a stabiliser fitted. The 2 main types are Winterhoff and AL-KO and all MAXXRAXX 2-bolt flange ball, bike racks bought directly from us are compatible with both types of stabiliser.
