Becoming a member of Club Sport is an excellent idea if you plan on playing in a number of leagues. Membership is $40 for the first year and $35 a year to renew. With membership you get $10 off every league you play and discounts on our outings and events. Plus, you get a TBCS member tee shirt and discounts at local merchants and establishments. Since most of our leagues play 4 seasons a year, if you plan on playing year round you would save $40 which pays for your membership.

A sport club is defined as a university recognized organization that has been formed by individuals motivated by a common interest and a desire to participate in a sporting activity.

All enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to join a sport club. Any current faculty or staff member is allowed to join, but participation my be limited or not permitted in some clubs due to league affiliation, memberships, or nature of the activity.

Each sport club has different entry requirements, with varying levels of membership. Some sports have tryouts to determine the competition level while others allow everyone to compete at all levels. Members of Zonta Clubs are executives or professionals in a recognized business, institution or profession working at least 50 percent of a normal week and willing to support the objects of Zonta. Currently, Zonta has 33,000 members in more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 68 countries and geographic areas.

You may apply to freeze your membership for a minimum of 4 weeks [in multiple of 2 weeks] or one month [depending on what is applicable] to a maximum of 14 weeks/3 months per calendar year. Time Freeze applications must be completed 14 days prior to the commencement of the time freeze. A fee of $5.00 for each fortnight/$10.00 per month is payable in advance at time of application. Time Freeze cannot be backdated.

Your application will be reviewed and your club contacts will be notified within four to six weeks of your club's membership status.

Your club may download a special Night Sky Network logo and link to post on your website designating your club as a member of the Night Sky Network. You have the right to use this logo on club correspondence and publicity. The Club Officer and the Night Sky Network Club Coordinator listed on the application form are each sent an email with his or her login and access password for the Night Sky Network.

A:Sport Clubs are constantly graduating students and looking to pick up new talent. Each club keeps a competitive roster according to their respective sport. Tryout dates and times vary for each team. Check the Sport Clubs homepage for specific information or the Contact List page to get in touch with a team’s contact.

SDSU sport club teams participate in competitions with other clubs, organizations, colleges and universities. Our teams frequently travel throughout the Southwest to compete against club teams from Long Beach State , UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, ASU, Arizona , Fresno State , Utah State, UC Davis, USC and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Teams have recently traveled to national tournaments in Las Vegas , NV , Camden , NJ , Bakersfield , CA and Columbus , OH .

No, experience is not required, but suggested for many of the clubs. Clubs that are competing at the national level may have two levels of teams based on skill level and playing ability.
