What is a midget?

faq
In some circles, a midget is the term used for a proportionate dwarf. However, the term has fallen into disfavor and is considered offensive by most people of short stature. The term dates back to 1865, the height of the "freak show" era, and was generally applied only to short-statured persons who were displayed for public amusement, which is why it is considered so unacceptable today.

How does XP compare to other lightweight processes, like Scrum, and FDD?

Extreme Programming (XP) FAQ
Scrum is a lightweight process that is philosophically very close XP. SCRUM focuses more effort removing impediments, with daily stand-up meetings where programmers list any outside issues that are impeding progress, and a Scrum Master who is tasked with removing those impediments. Peter Coad's Feature Driven Development is an iterative lightweight process, but is much more hierarchical than XP, with a chief programmer, who directs class owners, who direct feature teams. How does the NPL compare?

Netscape Public License FAQ
The NPL and MozPL both attempt to strike a middle ground between promoting free source development by commercial enterprises and protecting free source developers. Like the GPL, they require that any and all changes to code covered by the license must be made publicly available. However, they also allow you to combine covered code with other code to create a larger work without requiring that other code to be covered by the license. Any torch that will bring the piece to the right temperature and hold it there is fine. I would tend to avoid using acetylene as it is sooty and could create a problem. Using a torch that is designed to be used in a horizonal position for 2 minutes is a good idea. Propane or MAPP torches with a swirl tip are an excellent choice, and are available from your hardware store. See similar questions...
