The program offers both day and evening sessions and makes every effort to set-up a schedule so it will not interfere with work or school.

Volunteers must arrive in Kathmandu at least one day before the training program starts (either the 1st or 15th of every month). Depending on your departure location, you may experience jetlag or "culture shock" for a few days after your arrival, therefore, we recommend arriving in Kathmandu at least 2 days before your training begins. Note: if you couldn't schedule your flight date in above-mentioned date, please write us for other alternative date.

There are several classes going on at the same time. If you can’t make your class’s scheduled session, you will have an opportunity to make up that session with another group. We discourage making up more than one class in a year because this may undermine your ability to develop strong relationships with your classmates.

All known schedule conflicts must be noted on your audition form. You are allowed up to 3 pre-noted absences. An Appeal for Reinstatement form must be signed in order to continue rehearsing if more than 3 regular rehearsals are missed. Conflicts will NOT be allowed during production weeks or during the performances, period, or you may not be able to do another EDMT production. (Extenuating circumstances such as a death in the family will not have consequences.)

Yes, federal jurors are paid $40 a day. (Employees of the federal government are paid their regular salary in lieu of this fee.) Depending on trial activity, you will be subject to jury selection for a period of approximately four months. You are to report only when notified to appear by the court. Notification is sent by mail giving the next report date and instructions to call a recorded message the night before to confirm OR you may be advised in the Courtroom by the Judge.

Byes" appearing in the schedule are dates when no match has been scheduled because there are an odd number of teams available to play on that date. Byes are randomly assigned. "Open" dates are specifically requested in advance of the season by the team so that the team may participate in a tournament or for other good reason. (Each team may request only one open date per season.) If a team has requested an open date, that team may also be assigned a bye.

You can exchange into virtually any concert (subject to availability) except a gala event, special event, or an event that is sold out. When possible, your exchange seat will be in a similar location to your original seat, however, equivalent seating is not guaranteed. Each subscription ticket may be exchanged once. A $5 fee will be incurred for subsequent exchanges. Some concerts sell out as the season progresses.

We understand how hectic a college student's life can be, with athletics, clubs, and jobs in addition to classes.
