Current students and students with enrollment activity since winter 2001 can acquire unofficial transcripts online through your my.emich account. Information can be obtained at: Academic Transcripts on the Web.

Official transcripts display the University seal and the registrar’s signature and are only available through the Office of Student Records. These transcripts are usually required for employment and educational purposes. Unofficial transcripts are available online through RamLink and are for informational purposes only.

Call the MARS number (301.403.0500) or make your request via WEB (www.testudo.umd.edu). Transcripts will be mailed the day after your request has been received. There is no charge for transcripts. No because these core courses are required to meet the standards of the National Policy Board for Educational Administration and the National Council for Accreditation in Teacher Education (NCATE).

In the ACCESS system under "Student Records", there is an option labeled "View Transcipt". This is the same option that you use when you want to order an official transcript online. Unlike the official transcript, you may print out an unofficial transcript from your computer without charge. Simply select the 'Print' option in your browser, select the printing options you would like to use, and your unofficial transcript will print out at your printer.

A sealed copy of your transcript is required to transfer grades to another school. In order to request this sealed transcript, you must first complete a Transcript Request Form. The are several ways to receive a copy of your transcript: (1) You can come by the Registrar’s Office and pick one up. You must fill out a Transcript Request Form in order for the transcript to be released. By logging on to UVAWISE.EDU, click on Alumni, then transcript request. (2) You can request a copy online via this link Transcript Request Online which utilizes digital signatures.

Official copies are usually required for other universities, institutes, scholarship sponsors, certification, and employment. Unofficial copies are normally used for a student's personal use. Some institutions accept unofficial copies temporarily until an official copy can be sent. Check with the institution that is requiring your transcript in order to determine which transcript to request.

If you're a currently enrolled student, you can sign up with WebAdvisor and print it yourself. You must know your student identification number and have a valid email address, in order to access it. If you are not a current student, you have to request an official copy. Go to Transcripts.

When you submit the transcript request, please indicate any special instructions on the form and we will send the necessary documents along with the transcript to the appropriate institution. Wait lists are not evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Registrar’s Office in Kettler 107 provides unofficial transcripts to all IPFW students free of cost. This type of transcript is suitable for a visit with your academic advisor. Official transcripts are also available for Indiana University students. The cost is currently $7.00. Purdue University students must contact the Registrar at the West Lafayette campus or at IPFW for official transcripts which are provided to students at no cost.
