There are no zoning codes that restrict Natural Spaces domes, and our domes exceed all energy codes. You may be restricted on height as some codes have a maximum height of 30' to 35'. Force Domes are really spheres of magical energy, with the top hemisphere showing and the bottom hemisphere engulfing mass as a magical (not physical) "anchor". E.g., a 3-hex Force Dome radiates 2 hexes out from the center hex, and is 5 yards (15') in diameter. Force Dome is intended to be a defense for the caster and his companions, not a prison for the caster's enemies. The spell cannot be evaded or resisted; therefore, allowing mages to trap people in Force Domes to incinerate them, depressurize them, etc. would be abusive, and not in the spirit of the spell. The majority of our customers purchase their domes to live in. The different cover materials we offer allow for use in any climate. We have insulation packages available that, in conjunction with a wood stove or other heating system, make the dome a comfortable space in cold weather. Yes although our Instruction DVD and Video have enabled our customers to set their own domes up with ease. We do recommend hiring one of our staff members for 44’ diameter and larger domes, although we have had customers accomplish the setups on their own.
